OASIS (MUSTIQUE DEMO) ‘Don’t Go Away’ available now!
‘DON’T GO AWAY’
(MUSTIQUE DEMO)’ RELEASED Friday, 9th September
Taken from ‘BE HERE NOW’ TO BE RELEASED OCTOBER 14TH 2016
Big Brother Records will release ‘Don’t Go Away (Mustique Demo)’. The first time any of Oasis’s legendary Mustique Demos have ever been publically available, the track is now available to stream, download and as an instant grat with album pre-orders https://Oasis.lnk.to/DGA. Never before released as a single in the UK, ‘Don’t Go Away’ is taken from Oasis’s third album ‘Be Here Now’, which is being reissued as part of the ‘Chasing The Sun’ series on October 14th.
Recorded on the Caribbean island in early 1996 by Noel Gallagher and Owen Morris, the Mustique Demos are the original demos for ‘Be Here Now’. The original tapes were mislaid shortly after the completion of recording, and subsequently achieved mythical status among the band’s huge fanbase. The tapes remained effectively lost until recently unearthed in the depths of the label’s archive, and now all 14 Mustique Demos will be available in special editions of the new Chasing The Sun edition of ‘Be Here Now’. No One Will Ever Replace Us – Ignition Records, impact date October 21st.
Ahead of the release of their fifth album, Courteeners have announced details of a new single and their biggest UK tour to date.
No One Will Ever Replace Us is a modern day anthem dedicated to a very British kind of summertime love. No One Will Ever Replace Us is the second track taken from Courteeners fifth album, Mapping the Rendezvous (following the brilliant recently released track The 17th).
Courteeners fifth album – Mapping the Rendezvous – is released on October 21st 2016. I’m Yours is a testament to how much we don’t know about Pixie Geldof; who has been writing songs on the quiet, all this time; her tentative musical ambitions now stunningly fulfilled in this sumptuous collection of contemporary leftfield pop. And we’re back! Time flies!
Well, that went fast!
As you know, Orchestrate took a sabbatical to travel through SE Asia and it’s almost over! We cannot believe a year has already passed, so many good memories and fun times, but everything has to come to an end, it’s time to get back to work!
We’re busy packing our flip flops and hoping the Irish weather will stay nice for when we arrive back home. If it doesn’t and starts raining again, we will go from +35C to the good old Irish weather that mandates jumpers, rain coats and warm pub nights!
Now, the Irish pub night is actually something we missed along with our close family, close friends and all the people we worked with, so it’s not all doom and gloom for us, we are in fact looking forward to coming ‘home’!
As said, we will be back in business starting the 13th of June. However, as we’ve started promoting some new clients you will start to see some mails from us over the next days. (Pixie Geldof anyone!?)
Just so you know, we don’t have Irish phone numbers just yet, but we will once we open the office so expect me to make you jealous about all our adventures over the past year!
Really looking forward to working and catching up with you all again!

In the week that Public Service Broadcasting’s lauded second album The Race For Space is released the band unveil a brand new video for upcoming single ‘Go!’ (due May 8).
Befitting the band’s studious nature, rather than focusing on the more obvious heroes of the lunar landings – the astronauts – the band turn their attention to the people in the control room, the scientists, engineers and experts, who played a crucial part in the success of the mission.
How people still doubt that the Apollo 11 mission landed on the moon, particularly with such compelling evidence as used in PSB’s current video is a mystery to J. Willgoose:
“I find it a particularly sad indictment of our species that arguably our greatest technological and spiritual achievement – leaving our own planet and walking on another celestial body – is viewed by the more cynical as a colossal waste of money or, worse, as the greatest hoax ever perpetuated.”
Willgoose, Esq. – the mastermind behind the record – often fields questions on how his songs come together. ‘Go!’ almost wrote itself, he says: “The first time I heard the call-outs and the replies, there was such excitement and frenetic-ness to it. It was obvious to me that this was going to be a fast-paced song and it was going to be called ‘Go!’” The finished result is a fiery and confident speed-trial of a track, with an infectious chorus and the most unlikely sing-along dialogue of the year, all counting down to the moon landing itself when Neil Armstrong utters the relief-filled words, “The Eagle has landed”.
The Race For Space is out now via Test Card Recordings and tells the story of the American & Soviet space race from 1957 – 1972 via the duo’s eccentric mix of guitar-driven electronica, propulsive drumming and spoken word samples culled from this uniquely rich period of modern history.
“With our album and our music we are attempting to translate into our own voices a celebration of that period, in the process communicating something of ourselves and our faith in the technological progress of our species, and it is on those terms that I’d hope our album is judged.”
Fresh from touring with Kaiser Chiefs, the band will play two launch shows at the National Space Centre, Leicester later this week – both of which sold out in under 24 hours – as well as three in-store shows at UK record stores before heading around the world on an extensive tour. In the UK, they will blast off at Brighton’s Corn Exchange on 22 April before splashing down for a huge show at London’s Roundhouse on 7 May.

Fox Jaw – Siren’s Call releasing on 13 March
FOX JAW – ‘Siren’s Call’
Out March 13th 2015 on Digital Download and Limited Edition Transparent Purple 7″ Vinyl.
The Limerick quintet release ‘Siren’s Call’, the fourth single taken from their critically acclaimed sophomore album, ‘Ghost’s Parade’. The single comes accompanied online by a sweet little short film that follows the tale of a gentlemen uncovering a box of memories, and finally working up the courage to reach out to a long lost, forbidden love. This video is the bands way of showing their support of the upcoming Marriage Equality Referendum, on 22nd May 2015.
2014 proved to be a successful year of single releases, with an impressive amount of airplay, raising many eyebrows in the Irish music industry, as a band proving themselves with an ever expanding sound. From the sleazy blues ballad sounds of ‘Kerosene’, the rock & roll foot stomps of ‘Hijack’, to the rocking pop-sensibilities of ‘Falling Debris’. Current single, ‘Siren’s Call’, further adds, some dulcet tones, to an already technicolor palette.
2015 also sees the band release their fifth vinyl release in 12 months, which includes four 7” vinyl releases, one for each of their singles. Each release is a limited edition, hand numbered, transparent coloured vinyl release. The B-Side of each single, features the same song, redone in a different genre, where Fox Jaw have collaborated with artists, DJs, Producers and MCs to produce a variety of takes of their music, from Lounge Jazz, to Swamp Blues & Dub Hip Hop. It’s impossible to know for sure, but it’s pretty safe to say, that possibly no independent band has ever produced such a feat.
‘Ghost’s Parade’, was recorded with producer Dave ‘Skippy’ Christophers (Josh Ritter, Whipping Boy, Mundy) & engineer Owen Lewis (Flogging Molly, Snow Patrol, REM), and mastered at Wav Mastering by Richard Dowling (David Bowie, Foo Fighters, Interpol).
Fox Jaw have been described as ‘A modern band with an old soul’. They’ve been producing a trend shaking, majestic deep growl, which swaggers from the terrific to the sublime. A band that usually err on the side of darkness, but always keeping it sweet and melodic with an honest collection of dark pop songs. Critics praising them as “True hidden gems”, “A seductively gloomy sound in a league of its own … will both mystify and satisfy” (State.ie). “One of Ireland’s most inventive and engaging rock bands” (Hotpress).
A simple background check on the band reveals, that the guys are one of the hardest working bands in the country. Formerly Fox Jaw Bounty Hunters, they released their debut album ‘The Devil In Music’ in 2011, played close to 100 shows within 24 months, across Ireland, the UK & Canada (80 of those shows were within the first 10 months!), and receiving an ‘Album Of The Year’ Award from Indie UK music website, The Underclassed.
With many festival appearances including Indie Week (Toronto & Ireland), Castlepalooza, AranMojo, Glasgowbury, Vantastival, Arthur’s Day, Knockanstockan, Indiependence & more… Going from strength to strength, with TV appearences, featuring on a Becks Vier TV advertising campaign, a flip cover of Hotpress… There’s a strong chance you’ve come across this band before, without even realising!
They’ve shared the stage with such acts as:
Against Me!, Therapy?, And So I Watch You From Afar, The Redneck Manifesto, Jape, Hayseed Dixie, HamsandwicH, Director, Fight Like Apes, Calvin Harris, The Feeling & many more.See Fox Jaw Live

Eddi Reader Releases ‘Back The Dogs’ EP on 13 February
Eddi Reader is delighted to announce her seventh annual Irish tour, which will see the internationally acclaimed and enigmatic Scottish songstress return to Ireland for nine performances nationwide between the 12th and 22nd of February 2015. Eddi will be performing with John Douglas and Boo Hewerdine on guitars, Alan Kelly on piano accordion and Kevin McGuire on double bass.
Eddi will released an EP entitled Back the Dogs on February 13th which includes her tantalizing versions of both the 1950’s Ray Evans and Jay Livingston song, Mona Lisa and the 1960s classic, Moon River by Henry Mancini and Johnny Mercer. “Back The Dogs is as powerful a collection of songs as you’ll find in one place. When the songs aren’t speaking to the soul, their speaking to the heart… there is a real class to this release, it helps you understand why music is called an art.” Fatea Records
With a career spanning over 3 decades, Eddi Reader has effortlessly developed into one of popular music’s most thrilling and affecting performers. Having first hit the limelight in the 1980’s with the group Fairground Attraction (who enjoyed huge chart success with their debut No.1 single Perfect and album First of a Million Kisses), Eddi went on to collaborate on many celebrated projects throughout the years, famously harmonizing with Annie Lennox while touring with the Eurythmics and paying her punk dues with a successful stint in the group Gang of Four. However it has been Eddi’s subsequent solo albums that have cemented her image as a powerful figure in British music.
2014 saw Eddi widely celebrating the release of her eighth and deeply personal, yet universal sounding solo album, Vagabond (Feb 2014). MOJO **** R2 ***** Sunday Express **** Record Collector **** Irish Times Album of the Week **** Produced by Eddi herself, it was recorded in her hometown of Glasgow with a cast of well-chosen musicians and long-term musical collaborators. Akin to an autobiographical work, Vagabond is a reflective and whimsical journey through family and inspired musical and poetic heroes that reconfirms Eddi’s intuitive ability to transform any song or genre into her own.
With an MBE for outstanding contributions to the arts, 3 BRIT awards, a #1 single and 8 critically acclaimed solo albums, what sets Eddi apart is the depth and quality of the emotional performance and ability not only to move the listener, but to connect her experience to that of her audience. With beautifully raw vocals and an unparalleled romanticism, Eddi continues to captivate and inspire audiences from her own native Scotland to the UK, Japan, Canada, Australia and Europe and is considered to be “one of Scotland’s greatest national treasures” The Scotsman.
